Started swooping down daily, stealing the koi for food. One afternoon, while we were enjoying the company of Iglesia, the last of the koi, the eagle decided to skip the pond and instead made for the baby. Fortunately, little Darren was in the 99th percentile for his age and was too heavy for the eagle to carry off. The next day Wayne and Justin took care of the eagle.
